I had an arts immersion daycamp spanning the weekend. (This will explain why I wasn't seen on msn)
Arts as in not only drawing-art but drama, dance and music as well. I thought I wouldn't have much fun with dance and music. BUT BOY DID I EVER HAD FUN!
I loved playing those drums. *A*
Everyone who signed up(roughly 13-16 years old)were split into 4 groups. that really sucked. Nancy, nana and I were split up. Nancy-group B, nana-group C, moi-Group D.
(Nancy had a really cute guy in her group. I'm not the type who says this kind of stuff, but nana and someone(name not mentioned for privacy reasons) from RG who was in my group thought so too ;D)
Group D did drama first. What I <3ed most about it would be our game of "splat". I think we did it when I took the drama module in school too.
To play, there's this ring of people, and someone in the middle. That person in the ring will point at someone and say "SPLAT!" and that person will duck while the two people at the left and right of the pointed person will splat each other. Last among the two to splat is dead and the game continues!The last two remaining people in the game has a "final showdown" kind of thingy where they walk steps away from each other as the person who was in the middle of the ring counts to a number he likes and shouts FIRE! then the two people walking away has to splat each other and the first to splat the other wins. I got in the final showdown for both games we played! >D
Lost the showdown for the first game, won it for the second.
But I was still the last two!

For the music workshop we learned how to use some drums! (I think they were from indonesia or something) and learnt rhythms that were used in belly dancing! XD
Then we also got to make our own "soundtracks" to fit the mood of a movie.

For dance we had to chereograph our own dance in groups based on stuff we do in our daily lives. our 5 things were: fanning ourselves, turning a switch on/off, adjusting the bottom of a T-shirt, tripping(haha) and going through a door.

I was cosplaying in day 1! (well, sort of) as L!
I was so bad no one knew. XD

Day 2: We had our visual art workshop. Made a model hand out of paper, Tissue paper stuffing and masking tape to hide some paper ugliness. I like my model hand. I brought it home by carrying it so the whole world could see <3
(It's pretty scary looking when you see it for the first time)

Then we had to get ready for the final camp performance where we had to incorperate whatever we learnt in the camp. Our performance also had to be based on a folk tale. The one assigned to Group D was "The crocodile and the monkey"
It's about this crocodile who is mad at the monkey for disrupting his peace in his lake and wants to get rid of him. So through some way or the other (forgot) gets the monkey to go for a ride on his back in the middle of the lake. Halfway the crocodile asks the monkey for his heart so that his sick dad can live because he needs a monkey's heart to survive. The monkey sees through his plans and says that he left it at home. The crocodile (idiot) believes him and fetches him back, whereby the monkey climbs on the coconut tree and says that the crocodile is really stupid.
I was one of the musicians for the play. I wanted to be in the drama category but since the only actors were the monkey and a crocodile, I didn't want to anymore. :D
I really enjoyed the camp. I may want to go again if there're people I know who're going. xD

Oh. and I think I'm in love >_>.
