Today was our international coastal cleanup day thing, I wasn't very looking forward to picking up rubbish in the begining but after that I felt that it was rather fun! Perhaps it was partly because I brought tongs, so I didn't have to hand-pick the stuff up with the gloves. It's also pretty amusing to see the kinds of rubbish you can actually find there. My group found a syringe, the packaging of some very dubious objects and a lightbulb. A lightbulb. Imagine that! there were some pretty things like the coulored glass bottles and cigarette lighters (most pink in colour)that would have been perfect for the installation art thing, just that when it was time to take out the materials worthy for artation, I couldn't find them. Our garbage bag was too full of stuff. Dx I think the area we were assigned was very intersting. We got the part nearest the canal, which was promised to 'have the most rubbish' Maybe it's true. When I ventured nearer the canal to explore, I found 4 dead fishes and 1 dead rat. The rat was huge, I tell you, and flies were feasting on its insides through a hole near the rat's chest area. Some of the dead fishes looked really gross, part of their skeleton could be seen. The first and biggest dead fish I found didn't have eyeballs. Are fish eyes a delicacy or something? I almost stepped on a lot of them. Good thing the flies served as an indicator of something dead around, or who knows what I would see under my shoes xD the most we picked up were styrofoam bits, mostly parts of takeaway boxes, and plastic food wrappings. not surprised both are related to food. Found loads of cigarette odd and ends as well.
After the activity was over, we were dismissed at RJC and Sze Min, Gracia, Pearlyn, JX, Nancy and me went to Junction 8(shopping centre) at had lunch at Mos burger. It's pretty expensive, but yummy nevertheless! After lunch, Nancy left. So Sze Min, Gracia, Pearlyn, JX and me went up to take neoprints. nine dollars for 20 stickers. I hate neoprint-decorating time limits.
Then JX left. So Sze Min, Gracia, Pearlyn and I went to Comics Connection to look at stuff and I finally bought ouran volume 2! <3 I was looking around at merchandise, mainly Bleach ones, and was considering of buying something when right in front of my eyes were Ouran character keyrings! I hadn't noticed; was I blur or what? @_@ I searched through the small stack of 4 keyrings. There was a Honey, Tamaki, Twins and Kyouya one. Which probably means someone bought Mori's. Anyway, I bought the Twins' one, although the picture wasn't too nice (they look like sly evil foxes). I think I may get Honey next time xD I wanted to get one of those big anime posters too. There was no Ouran (not surprised) but there was Bleach! I wanted to get one of Renji and Byakuya but I didn't know how to take it out so I gave up X3

I hate sitting right at the corner of the class worksheets never reach you. Sitting in a row of three sucks when the teacher asks for pairwork. Oh well, by doing pairwork with me I learn to bond more with her.
The Ouran anime series will be ending in 2 episodes, 2 weeks' time. I don't really know what I'll do after that. Try new anime, I guess. But Ouran will definitely leave a hole in my heart. The manga coming once a month isn't helpful either.
Hardly anyone in class is interested in animanga. It's a little lonely. At least there are online fans. But it's still lonely.
And what's wrong with anime soundtracks being the only stuff I listen to? I still listen to a little of "the outside world" anyway. A teensy bit.
EOIs will be coming soon. I'm worried for myself. I can't study. I didn't do much for PSLE either. I can't take things in. My GPA so far from the first semester is unsatisfactory and I'm aware my marks for the second are even worse. Guess I'd better start studying soon; but how? There're still PTs left! There's a chinese book review to do! There's still homework!
Once I finally wash my hands off the education ladder (still halfway up), there's still Work. I still have to get a job, earn money...sigh. By the time I finally can do something I want for a long period of time and not have any guilty feelings or responsibilities, I'd be too dead to enjoy it. [/end "emo" post]
